Sivakasi Facebook Friends Group was started in 2014 and has been functioning as a registered organization since 5th July 2015. From the day of its inception till date it has been operating with great energy and fast pace for about 7 years.

Vision

Sivakasi welfare-oriented 'Nammal' without discrimination of caste, religion, race, language; For us; Team #SFF is all about doing 'us'.

We were the crowd that climbed the small wall and told stories. Amidst the question of what the country has done, Team #SFF is the answer to the question of what we have done for the country.

We are doing our best in water management, education, medicine, health, awareness etc. with the cooperation of public. Our dreams are big! Our goals are big! Let's rise to the top! Distance to travel; Long to travel to travel!

Activities

They say that the best word in the world is action. Action is the foundation of all success. We started doing activities on weekends either Saturday night or Sunday morning. During these seven years, the group became a team and became a family.

We have coordinated and collected relief materials in difficult situations like Chennai flood, Gaja storm, Thane storm. 'Is serialization possible?' During the corona lockdown period, we have been providing food to the people whose income has been affected, providing food to the elderly, providing groceries and vegetables to the needy, and practicing social distancing in public places for 50 consecutive days.

With the motivation and inspiration given by that continuous flow, we have been repairing and constructing the Panneer ferry called Manikkatti Oorani. For the past three months, we have been doing traffic regulation work every morning when the masses go to school. Regardless of any criticisms, we are working with only our right intention in mind. With proper planning, proper execution our journey will always continue…
